Technical Due Diligence

In-depth insights into complex technical systems and organizations provide advantages!

In project-oriented companies in the mechanical and (large-scale) plant engineering sector
technical due diligence includes analyzing and evaluating the current status of projects or project portfolios. To this end, I use the Project Vital Analysis® – Transparency for Project Efficiency method.

In companies in the process industry, technical due diligence includes an analysis of the operational organization, the technical condition of the process plants and their integration into the current organization. Among other things, this involves questions about the current procurement of services from an existing group or site organization, which may have to be provided elsewhere in the future.

As part of the analysis of the technical condition, plant documentation and maintenance status are analyzed, among other things. In the case of pharmaceutical plants, the validation and qualification status of processes, plants and systems is examined, among other things. The results of previous audits/inspections by authorities, customers and other interested parties are also examined and compared with our own observations.

The scope and depth of the organizational structure, process organization, site inspections of facilities and workshops and associated documentation to be examined are agreed with the client on a project-specific basis.
